Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In 2004, Renzo Piano designed a pilgrimage church for Saint Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo. The roof structure rests on a number of arches. The result is a building that looks completely different from a traditional church, both outside and inside. Admirers of modern architecture greatly appreciate Renzo Piano's innovative thinking, while some pilgrims don't like it.

It was amazing to be able to see St. Padre Pio’s body and to pray for his intercession, however the new Church is very disappointing. It is very cavernous, noisy and this makes it hard to pray. I wish I could understand why architects can’t structure Churches as they were before, cruciform and elevating to the heart and mind. The two other Churches where Padre Pio actually used to say Mass are beautiful. We will definitely return, hopefully next year, but the new Church remains a disappointment.

We're back after three years... And as then, unfortunately many things I did not like.... always the same motivations... Of spirituality there is very little... Very nice structure. I attach photos... The rest is not...
