Tour this marine cave that is carved in a spectacular sheer cliff, with long winding passages that delve far into the rock passing many fantastical stalagmites and stalactites.

Visiting the Neptune caves was a priority for me whilst visiting Sardinia. The boat trip was lovely and worth the €15 per person, however, on arrival at the caves, disorganised chaos began. They load too many people into a small, cramped entrance whilst only one...More

The boat trip was lovely in 39 degree heat and you get to see lovely scenery on the way. The staff on board were helpful (we were in the Neptune 2 boat) and very safety conscious. Be aware you are paying for the boat trip...More

Definitely worth the trip. We visited on a windless and hot day yet the bay swells rocked the boats quite a bit. Wear good walking shoes as some of the pavement in the cave is slippery. It is important to have a guide otherwise the...More

The cave itself is well worth the visit and can be accessed via several boat companies. For that reason I will not comment on the quality or anything else regarding the boat trip there but to say we had no complaints. I believe the cave...More

We visited here with our 23month old daughter – It’s a short boat trip from Alghero town, but well worth it. The views as you approach are spectacular – it’s difficult to appreciate the scale here until you are up close and see how tiny...More

We went on one of the many charter boats from the Port A Mare. The cost was €15 per adult and is a 40 minute journey each way. The boat was full, as you would expect in July. When you arrive there is only room...More

That is beautiful : quite touristic place thouf. The journey is nice too. I found the boat trip and the cave entrance fee expensive (around 26 euro) for an adult

Way to crowded and expensive. Not so interesting. There are many more caves to visit. The boat took to long time and was very hectic.

The best time ever spent on the freccia boat, snorkeling in Crystal clear water, great food, wine, coffee with biscotti. All inclusive and the best part is the crew and the cool people you meet on the boat.

You can buy them at the harbour from the individual boat companies. There are many to choose from and regular trips all day, so no need to pre order.
