Underground Cagliari

31 reviews
Much of Cagliari’s fascinating history is hidden beneath the modern city, and with this tour you can explore the warren of caves, tunnels, and crypts that date back centuries. Head underground with a guide to visit the crypts of Santa Restituta and Sant'Efisio, as well as the Salesian School Tunnel used to shelter students during WWII bombing raids and today lit only by candles.

The access from the car park is down on some uneven pebbles, but the scenery is quite nice. Very easygoing beach and sea in this bay. WIth a nice view on the Catalan tower overseeing the bay. Clear and relatively clean water; certainly not wild. Same for the beach: relatively less crowded though there is a large camping site on the cliffs above. SImple beach and bar service, but you don't need more.

Nice beach around 15km from the centre of Alghero. Not accessible except by car. Not much by way of amenities here so bring your own stuff. Lots of parking.

Amazing place really natural and with an amazing view, there you can find a good person called Giuseppe and he knows how to make a perfect spritz. Unfortunately It is closed a 7 pm. It is a place that you must visit!!

Beautiful little beach, with nice sand and very few people around. Beach bus from Alghero stops near it. Parking seems a bit improvised and not nearly up to a standard of other parking sites near other beaches, such as Le Bombarde, for instance.

Unfortunately we reached this spot on 02.01.2019 and was almost deserted with the exception of 2 parked vans. No one seemed to be around. We put 2 backpacs and one purse in the boot and closed the car.Went to take some pics and when returned find the car with the left window broken. All our belongins were stolen. After reporting the theft to the police we found that this is a common place for burglary. We wish we had known this before coming!
