Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This Tower is one of the highlights in the Old Town. Top tip... take the no.7 minibus tour with a 1.30 euro 90 minute ticket and enjoy the ride through narrow streets including into Piazza Indipendenza where the tower is situated amongst other beautiful architecture and scenery. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed in the Old Town, so we often passed by it. This tower was built in 1305 on the highest point of the hill. It’s made of limestone. It was an important defensive place, but later it became a prison. It’s in a very good condition. The view is fantastic, it’s a must-see site.

This tower offers great views as the other reviews say. I would like to add one information...there is one more tower located in Il Castello called Torre Elefante (they look similar) - dont bother with that one, go for this one only as San Pancrazio is significantly higher and price is the same.

If you do not have height sick, and you are not afraid to climb up, then this is the perfect place for the view of the city.
When you are up you can also look with the available free binocular at the city.

This is an impressive tower, visible for miles around and therefore provides great views from the surrounding piazza. FREE!

This tower is adjacent to the gate, Porta di San Pancrazio, one of the entrances into the old city, which is known as Castello, the medieval castle area of Cagliari. Under renovation when we were there, and not too much to see. Usually you can go up the tower. This tower is taller than the Torre dell'Elefante, which was also under renovation, so we couldn't climb either of them.

This high tower is a remarkable sign of the city. It is on top the hill, but if you go there you can have an astonishing view of the city.

The old city center is very nice, there are churches, the cathedral, good hotels and this tower and some other that give color to the area
