Unfortunately the green train is not running to arbatax tho due to start today. Tourist office says there is a problem with the track near lanusei. It is possible that some of the line from mandax is running but there seems to be no info....More

We try line from Arbatax with dinner included. If you have small children, consider to select short 2-3 hours trip. And prepare for amazing views, green mountains and authentic meal.

We travelled between the port of Palau and Tempio Pausanio. The trip takes around 2 hours and passes wonderful and varying landscape. Coaches are from 1930 with wooden benches, and overall this trip could be rewarding for everyone, not only for train nerds like myself.
