Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The statue was raised in 1901 as Pope Leo XIII decided to raise 19 statues of Christ around Italy to represent the 19 centuries of Christianity.
The bronze statue is 7m high On 29 August there is an annual festival, people make pilgrimage here from the cathedral, stopping for Mass at Chiesa di Nostra Signora del Monte, and again under the statue.

A great view from the top, a stunning panoramic view! Worth a little visit up here if nearby. Also nearby is a little cafe, we didn't visit but it looked nice.

Beautiful statue and beautiful view from the front. The forest, the path and the surrounding park are a breath of fresh air and tranquility just a stone's throw from the city!

The statue of the Redeemer on the Ortobene is not very beautiful, or at least I did not like it much. But it is in a very cool and windy position and if you want to enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Nuoro you have to climb right to the top and also walk the last flight of stairs that leads to the base of the statue. Apart from summer, it is good to go up there properly covered.
