Wonderful experience
Aug 2020 • Friends
I visited the vineyard with 3 friends yesterday. Alessandra was so informative and we learnt a lot about how the wines were made. We opted for the brunch/ wine tasting option which we all enjoyed! We started with fruits and cheese to accompany the white wine, followed by bruschetta and ravioli for the rose and a pork pie to taste with the red. We ended up purchasing another bottle while there and taking some for the road! Thanks Tenute for a great day :)

Fabulous experience very near Olbios. Excellent tour & extremely friendly. Informative with every part of the process explained well. Charming hostess inviting any questions we had. The 3 different wines to taste were paired with pecorino cheese & salami another type. Each wine was introduced starting with the white wine.
We loved the wine preserve. However we purchased a couple of jars of prickly pear jam. My daughter bought a bottle of wine.
Easy location to find & would recommend this highly. Best to book/reserve places in advance so they are prepared for visitors.
We loved this place. I’d go again.

Lovely Winery...
Jun 2019 • Couples
We stopped into Tenute Winery as part of a city tour. It was a lovely place, very clean design lines. We met the manager (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name). She was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour of the cellar complete with descriptions of how their wines are made and how their process is different from other places. We sampled three different wines which were paired with local food tastings - proscuito, salame, local cheeses, and a beautiful jelly infused with lavendar. We bought 2 bottles of wine to take back to our hotel.

Excellent wine tasting experience

Booked one day in advance at a cost of €15 per person. Excellent value for money and great experience with detailed history of the vineyard. Tasted 3 wines with local cheese and meats. Friendly and informative staff, in a beautiful environment. Fully recommend a visit

We’ve enjoyed the tour which was pretty short as the winery happened to be not so big. Nevertheless, we’ve managed to spend 2 hours with the professional Sommelier- Alexandra, who passionately told us not only about the wine making processes but about Sardinia and its specialties. No questions of ours were left unanswered. Personally I prefer red wine to white BUT “Lupus in Fabula” Vermentino without any exaggeration, is one the best white wines! Taste the sun, the passion, the fruits, the Life in the bottle of Vermentino produced at Tenute Olbios!

Not much of a tour
Jul 2018 • Couples
I felt a little let down by this vineyard tour. I have visited a few vineyards over the years and felt like this was a generic tour with little information given and the only ‘tour’ was the vineyards itself and the restaurant. It was explained why we could not visit any other parts of the estate such as the internal rooms but I still felt like it was a let down. The wine tasting also was minimal with only 1 red, 1 white and 1 rose to taste, none were particularly to my liking so I didn’t purchase anything.
The thing I did enjoy was the food they served to accompany the wine, it was very tasty and fresh, and went down very well.
I would recommend looking at other tours as this one just seemed a little poor for what was provided and the information given

The Prefect wine Tour
Oct 2018 • Couples
We visited the Vineyard after a recommendation from our Hotel Staff. We booked the Buffet Tour and wasn't disappointed by anything.
The Guide (sorry can't remember her name!) was very welcoming and the explanations given on the wine production was first class, in particular there was no `hard sell' of their wines.
The buffet was described as a light buffet supported with appropriate wines to accompany the various items of food. The buffet was substantial and proved an excellent vehicle for their wines. The Cave Rose de una Notte was a real hit with us (we even bought a bottle to bring back to the UK).
I should also add that whilst waiting for the tour to start we read a `Sardinian Cookbook' this gave such an insight in the cuisine of Sardinia than on our return to the UK I searched to see if it was available in the UK and found and bought one.
On our next visit to Sardinia we will return to the vineyard again for a repeated experience of the fine wines offered.

Fantastic Afternoon
Oct 2018 • Couples
We read about this on trip advisor and booked in advance via email, communication was quick and easy and we chose the full brunch option.
We took a taxi from the city centre for 25euro and spent a lovely couple of hours tasting the wonderful wine, the brunch was fantastic, tasty and fresh. The host was great, very friendly and informative. We have beenn lucky to visit lots of vineyards but we definitely learned something new on this one about the original method to french champagne as the Italian version. The premises are beautiful.
We chose to get the bus back, they run about 4 per day in October, there is a bus stop a few metres outside of Tenute premises, the bus cost 1.50 euro back to the centre, the journey is only a few minutes.
All in all a great afternoon. We would recommend this visit/tour.

Tentative host & great wine
Oct 2018 • Couples
My partner and I saw this vineyard on trip advisor and decided it was something we wanted to visit whilst staying in Olbia. We thought we could get the bus half way and walk the rest...which you can do, you just have to walk about 6km on A roads! We turned up without a reservation and they kindly let us join in for the wine tasting. The food and wine was really tasty and such a good deal at €25 per person (wine tasting and brunch). Would advise to book ahead if you want to do the tour.
It’s in a very remote but picturesque location with very friendly staff! They helped us order a taxi back into the Centre aswell which was around €20.
Would definitely recommend this if you are staying in Olbia!
