I am a Sicilian Personal Travel Designer based in Catania, Sicily. After my Master’s degree in Tourism Management at London University of Westminster, I moved back to Catania, worked for a tour operator for over 8 years and opened a B&B in the city. My deep knowledge of Sicily and Italy allows me to design the best itinerary for you, selecting the most reliable and beautiful accommodations, experiences and, last but not least, saving your precious time planning for you a stress-free vacation.

I am a travel agent and I had clients that were interested in finding their ancestors. Antonella put us in touch with someone who provided very thorough research. Antonella assisted with accommodations, tours, and finding the best priced rental car. My clients and I were very pleased with Antonella's service. In fact, I am using her myself for my trip to Sicily later this year.

This is a worthwhile service that will save you time and also make you aware of special places you might not have considered or known about. You can also get advice /feedback on places you do want to go to such as tourist sites, tours, restaurants, hotels, parks, etc. Propose a basic itinerary or just a wish list of types of activities you like and the dates you have available and she’ll flesh out an entire Sicily trip. You can then iterate it with her.
For example, she recommended a restaurant (I tried several of her recommendations - all were good) in the heart of Catania which I would have assumed had to be a tourist trap, but was actually a locals-oriented place with great food, wine, prices, and service (Tratorria di Cavilere if you must know). I never would have tried it on my own.
Better yet, if you get confused or hung up on the trip, she can also act as a real-time trouble shooter. That alone can pay for the service in saved money, time, and peace of mind. She rescheduled some long range taxis for me when my original reservations got cancelled that I would have had great difficulty doing on my own.
Also consider staying at her Oblo B&B in Catania which is just a few hundred meter easy walk from the Central (train) Station. Not your typical set-up. It is on the seventh floor of what looks to be an ordinary office building. Perfectly appointed for the traveler. Modern, compact, rooms with a view. And you get to meet Antonella in person!
