From the moment Alessio picked us up in his green Land Rover Defender we had a blast.
A great guy, incredibly knowledgeable, charming, fun and able to read the room.
Learnt loads about Etna and his love for the area was clear to see.
A really windy ridge walk, tales of the flora and fauna, a lava cave visit and a very well received convenience stop at a beautiful refuge for hot chocolates, espressos and arancinis.
Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

Thoroughly enjoyed the half day trip. Roberto was very knowledgable, engaging and amusing - never boring. Fascinating insight into geology, vulcanology and Sicilian history & culture. Privileged to have had such a bespoke tour with the personal touch.

Roberto led us on the MOST incredible journey around Mt. Etna! He has an endless understanding of volcanoes, the way they work, the history surrounding them and the myths and legends that they connect to. There was never a boring second in the hours we were all together and a few days later we're all still so moved by what we saw and learned.
Truly a once in a lifetime experience and I hope we have the opportunity to explore more of Mt Etna with Roberto!!

Great experience with Alessio. Great person and tour guide. Amazing experience visiting ETNA and nearby towns. Alessio took us to volcano crater, we did a light hike, then did some off-road driving. We paired up the tour with a lunch in nearby Randazzo and a Planeta winery visit, to which Alessio and ETNA Unlimited accompanied us. It was an amazing day with Alessio and the ETNA Unlimited team

Roberto was the best guide. He was a friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious host of our 6 person half day excursion. We visited an underground lava tube and one of the eruption sites of Mt Etna while sponging a ton of volcano science and history knowledge from Roberto who has a wealth of information to share about all things Sicily, Etna, and other volcanoes.
A wonderful experience, we hope to hire Roberto again when we visit.

We had such a special evening with Roberto and other clients discovering Etna. Even though the weather wasn't the best, Roberto planned a perfect trip for us. Highly recommened!

Excellent day on Etna. Roberto is a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable not only of Etna, but history of Sicilia.
Would highly recommend this trip for anyone interested in volcanology.

We spent a full day with our guide Roberto hiking on the Etna and this is one of the best experiences I ever had with a guide. The landscape was amazing and all the explanations, stories and jokes shared by our guide made the difference between a great day and a fabulous and unforgettable one !

Flying to the top of mount Etna with Etna Unlimited was nothing short of a phenomenal experience.
We were fortunate to have perfect conditions on the day which made the experience even more surreal.
Dealing with them from start to finish was super pleasant and the pilot was fantastic on the day explaining things along the way.
This is a must do highly recommend experience and I hope you get the same weather conditions we did!
