It wasn't easy to find this place, even by asking a local but we persisted( even with a map). When we were there they had a special exhibition on that was well worth our time. You may see signs for special shows posted around Palermo....More

Great Escher retrospective exhibition made mostly (or only) from Italian collections. There was very interesting Escher’s view of Italy (and especially Sicily) during his visit and his later famous art as well. The place itself is very pleasant.

We found out by chance that an Escer exibition was on here and so went - it was well worth the money, we learnt so much about the man and his works. Do get to this if you get the chance.

Don't miss this one! Lots of works, famous and lesser known. Fascinating. Audio guide included in admission, informative,in unaccented English. Fun interactive bits. Loved it! Signs in both English and Italian. Well installed in a beautiful building.
