Opened in March 2015 thanks to the support and valuable hospitality of the shopping center doors of Catania , the Museum preserves the ancient collection of the materials kept by the theater company opranti Catania " The Marionette F.lli Napoli " . In puppet shows from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century , scenes , posters and stage equipment of great historical - anthropological , telling an ancient tradition rooted in Sicilian culture .

A nice small shop in the "stazione marittima" in the harbour of Catania. Local pottery, well selected books in many languages, "pupi" (local version of puppets), all sorts of souvenirs. refined and for all pockets.
