When we were told about this we didn't think that is something worth seeing and we almost skipped it. I now can say that I am soo happy we went to see this miracle. It is impressive as you do not expect any of that....More

Our 'trip' from the cruise ship included the Duomo and the Clock tower. Got absolutely drenched in a heavy shower watching the various moving figures at midday but worth the experience

There are a lot of steps but looking at the mechanism from the inside and the bells makes it interesting. There is a very good view from the top, although a bit tight for space if busy. Not sure i'd want to be up there...More

A must see when you start your tour of Messina. A lovely astrological clock in the center of town. You need to be there at 12 noon for all the bells and whistles that the clock provides, but our tour did not get us there...More

Wonderful sight a must to stopover in Sicily! A very gentle place Messina. Though do venture out beyond the port and lots of hawkers trading their wares to travellers.
