The chapel is the most stunning part of this attraction. Keep your ticket if you are entering the gardens before leaving as you will be approached by a guard and asked to show it. If you are into Dutch art then the gallery is also...More

Only had 24 hours in Palermo - this is a must. The Palatine Chapel is a wonder ! The best we have ever visited. Really a wow factor.

Having read the reviews we wanted to see this but on the day we went the state rooms were shut. No mention of it when we bought our ticket. Disappointed

Royal chambers were closed, and they still had the audacity to take 12 euroes pr. head, just to see the Palatine Chapel. Do NOT pay to see the Royal Garden, it was not worth the money. The Chapel was beautiful but what a waste of...More

A guided tour is what you need to appreciate the wonderful church inside the palace. Extraordinaryarchitecture, beautiful decorations, interesting historical background. A jewel you cannot miss. The royal apartments deserve a visit as well.

The most important thing to see in Palermo, together with the Cathedral. Interesting building, many nice rooms inside and a nice garden next.

Don't come here at the end of the day when you're hot and tired. It felt like a long haul up the marble staircase. It was interesting to see the Royal Apartments, but I really wanted to see the Chapel. It was very crowded -...More

Together with the monreale cathedral and cefalu Duomo, the Norman chapel completes the trio of churches with similar designs and interiors. Having seen the first 2, this one is a bit of deja vu. Also the palace apartments were closed for renovations. So if you're...More

You know when your wife really wants to see something and you get beaten into submission to tag along, well this is it. The most amusing part was at the entrance where they have Airport style “Security” the lady that was supposed to be watching...More

You pay to visit the royal chambers and chapel, there was also an exhibition of paintings while we were there. Worth the entrance of 12 euros. The palatine chapel is stunning and the exhibition was really interesting
