It is a very nice fountain with several statues too look at. It is not that busy so you can take your time looking at the statues.

Hard to miss if you visit historic Palermo and Quatto Canti. Out of season it wasn't mobbed and good atmosphere

The Fontana Pretoria is a must see and is in close proximity to other sites such as the La Martorana, Palazzo dei Normanni and the Cappella Palatina. This fountain was designed about 1552 for the garden of a Florentine Villa. It is also called "The...More

Situated in the historic centre of Palermo, is this wonderful fountain and statues. Guards are vigilant all the time as there is a "no sitting" rule. Close by to several churches and the Ballaro Market.

It’s located in the old part of the city. It’s really nice to walk in this part of Palermo to enjoy the vibe and history.

This spot is attractive not only for the nude statues but I think because of the fountain itself and the very good lighting from above as long as it's sunny! The weather was very nice when we visited it and the sky was bright speckled...More

Nice and elaborate fountain near a couple churches. It’s worth stopping at for a few photos. One can get a great view of it from the tower of Saint Catherine’s church next door.

Nice to see and hear that the convent overlooked the fountain. It was deemed shameful with all the nude statues!
