Palermo has a mix of architectural styles, reflective of its history under the Phoenicians, Romans, the Byzantine Empire, the Greeks, Arabs, Normans and again the Romans. San Giovanni degli Eremiti is a church near the royal palace and notable for its brilliant red domes, which...More

This small church has in turns been used both as Christian church and Muslim mosque. Sitting down here after a hot and busy day ease off your mind and is a welcome break before rushing on for more things to see

Very interesting place and definitely worth seeing. Tickets (in my opinion) are too expensive according to other attractions.

Oddest Christian monument known. I would like to have spent more time here. If you go be certain to go inside.

This design is so mosque like although it is a catholic church. Tells a wonderful story and gives you an idea of Palermo with its rich history of 2700 Years !

Nice, historic church with tranquil gardens. Entrance fee much higher than other churches and it really doesn't warrant an entry fee of 6 euros.

The ticket is expensive for such a small place. It is nice to see it a s a very old place and for the plants inside.
