This puppet show is a must. Spoken in Italian but language no barrier to understanding. Fabulous marionettes with dragons, goodies and baddies galore in wonderful traditional costumes with highly skilled puppeteers. The performance is enhanced by a manually operated music box !! which adds to...More

This was a puppet show in a tiny theater. Even though it was in Italian which we do not speak, it was delightful and easy to follow the show. The show is only once a week so check the schedule. It is worth seeing.

The auditorium is really small and the stage too so it was almost as though one was getting a personal performance. Even without speaking Italian one can easily follow the action, goodies and baddies and lots of fighting. One of our guides told us how...More

We attended the show in the late afternoon and really enjoyed it. It is all conducted in Italian so as English speakers we didn’t understand a word but we got the gist nonetheless. It is a small intimate venue so the action on stage is...More

We saw this on a Tuesday night as I believe there was a tour group booked in. The sign out the front says sat and sun - so if you’re interested the lesson is email phone or Facebook and ask! We paid 14 euro entry...More

I wanted to see this because it is so much of Palermo and Sicily's history. I loved it and think everyone will enjoy such a visit. You might need to book but it's worth it. A real fun night out.

On a trip to SIcily we stayed for a few nights in Palermo. We were looking for some entertainment other than opera or ballet and found this family run puppet show in a side street by the cathedral. Amazing! So large and believable. WE do...More

Arrive by 6pm and buy tickets (10 euros) for a 6.30pm start. The calendar of shows is on their Facebook page. There are not a huge number of seats. It's a fun way to spend an hour seeing something that you've never seen the like...More

We came upon this theater by chance and were impressed by the craftsmanship and ability of the puppeteers. Each character had its own personality and the story was well portrayed. The show is good for all ages; not just chldren.

Look. If you want a magical experience, surrounded by Italian families laughing until (in some cases) they cry, with kids having a wonderful time, watching an expression of artistry which is just in a league of its own and puppetry which involves swords being drawn,...More
