This little theatre is a family business in it's fifth generation and is the real deal off the tourist path. We were told this theatre is better than seeing the puppet museum because this "museum" is living. Sicilian puppetry is an historic art form that...More

A must see if you want to immerse yourselves in the history and culture of Sicily. The theatre is just across the road from the Cathedral. We had visited the Puppet Museum in another part of Palermo in the morning and had been recommended to...More

We were unfortunately unable to attend a performance, but the museum is well worth visiting. The variety of puppets and history of the different cultures was extremely interesting. An amazing number of puppets and all beautifully displayed. Highly recommended.

This small family run Teatro is a must see. Look out for the bill boards at the entrance to the small alley nearly opposite the Cathedral. Perfect pre dinner entertainment and not just for kids.

A thoroughly entertaining time spent going back to ones childhood! A joyful time spent enjoying a classic story, of kings and knights, and sword fights. There was even a "smoking" dragon puppet!! The art and craft of this multi-generational family enterprise can only be truly...More
