Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were in the square visiting the fountain and wondered what was inside this building as we saw a few people going in and out yet it doesn't really feature on in any of the tourist books or maps. So glad that we decided to take a look as it's stunning. Beautiful architecture, interesting statues and delightful views of the fountain and churches from the upper floors. Free to visit and well worth half an hour of your time.

It is a construction from the year 1463 that underwent several renovations. In the last one, the emblems of the Bourbons were removed and the eagles were added, which is why it is known by its current name. It is the headquarters of the Municipality of Palermo. It is located in Pretoria Square, in front of the well-known fountain.

Well worth visiting, in the historical centre. The fountain/statues have been restored, unlike some of the buildings in the area.

Absolutely worth a visit! this city has so much to offer, and this is a majestic display of art and spectacular architecture. Palermo surprised us in many different aspects, but this was a real jem.

Located on Piazza Pretoria with a famous fountain in the middle, the City hall was a nice surprise for us.
Outside it's like any other of that kind, but approaching the entrance the guards welcomed us in for a free tour. It was very nice to tour it on your own (no guides), to see the deputies room, meeting room, furniture,...and to sit in the Mayor's chair.
I don't know if it is a regular practice, but it was Saturday afternoon when we were, so it's worth giving a try.

Italy, Sicily and Palermo, where ever you walk you feel like in a museum. The fountain is just another amazing sight that is worth visiting. It is just a pity that the surrounding buildings are so worn down. I do understand that refurbishments cost lots of money but imagine how much more attractive all the sights would be.

A beautiful fountain in the Baroque style. At night it is lit up so magnificently, Reminded me of the Fountain of Trevi in Rome. Just magnificent.

This fountain is right in the middle of the city so ideal as a central location to meet at or use as a meeting point.Lots of shops and buildings locally and right on a junction where street markets and singers sell and busk.

I couldn't believe that when I asked where I was that it was City Hall. This pic doesn't do it justice - look up images! Quatro Centro is right around the corner as well which really makes you feel like you've traveled back in time. And although you can walk around city hall - inside is just ok - you'll for sure have eyes on you.
