Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The views at sunrise are one of a kind. I tried to spend a little time researching how the water was crossed in ancient times and came up with Nil. It would be interesting to discover. It’s such a wide open area that lends itself to allowing the surrounding water to take part in the overall view. I’m quite sure it would make a sensational painting!

Nice bridge to walk or drive over into Ortigia. Used to drive onto Ortigia as the other bridge is part of the traffic restricted zone. Leads to the car park Talete, 3 minutes drive.

Ponte Unbertino is the bridge from Sycause into Ortigia. A combination of six small arches to get from one side to the other. Clear water.

If you like walking around the cities you are visiting, then you will definitely cross this bridge located right in the city center. It is not too high, and the clear water helps to see all the fish and sea life that ventures around in the water.

This is the site of one of the bridges that gives you access to Ortigia Island. It is where you will find the statue of Archimedes and have views of the harbor.

It is one of the bridges that connect Ortigia to the neighborhoods built in the nineteenth century. A normal stone bridge useful for traffic but not particularly interesting from an architectural point of view.
