Unfortunately the church was closed during all the four days we spent on Ortigia. The facade is very beautiful. There would certainly be a need for Siracusa tourist officials to give more precise information about the opening hours in all the places, e. g. churches...More

You can find this modest gothic church at the middle of the way from two opposite promenades of Ortigia. You will be lucky if you find it open. If it`s no, you should go to the most popular family restaurant of Siracusa - Cala Piada...More

Beautiful church that dates back to 6 century BC. I particularly liked the doorway, which reminded me of iberian churches. Not by accident of course, it is in Catalan-gothic style! Worth a detour if you go this south in the island.
