Our private tour of Taormina was excellent. I would highly recommend Chiara as a guide to this beautiful town. She is highly knowledgeable and courteous. The pace of the tour was just right not at all rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantastic! there is no other word to describe the incredible moments we experienced in Sicily (Taormina, Catania and Siracusa) thanks to our wonderful guide Chiara! Chiara is incredible: extremely knowledgeable, passionate, professional, agile and ready to adapt the program without problems, very well known by locals (she can suggest you hotels, restaurants and activities that are truly amazing)...a must to have when traveling in the beautiful Sicily! Thank you so much Chiara and we will be definitely be back very soon !

When Chiara found out we were interested in Sicilian history she took the time to answer all our questions, adding tidbits to the long and multilayered history of the island. She has a passion for her work and she certainly had our ear during the enjoyable afternoon complete with an in depth review of the amphitheater's architecture and history. Highly recommended.

On a recent trip to the Mediterranean my wife and I spent the day in Taormina. It is a beautiful little resort town perched high above the sea. In fact you have to go up in an elevator 6 floors to get to the town. It was founded in the Roman days and was a Roman Vacation sight. It is surrounded by impressive walls. It really only has 1 Main Street, and the one that turns off and goes to the Greek and Roman Amphitheater. It is nice but I thought all of the modern equipment used for concerts took away from its historicity, but I guess it is nice they use it. Small Upper Class shops are on both sides of the street. I was impressed most by the numerous beautiful old churches. Chiesa de San Giuseppe and Chiesa se Sant Agostino the town square Corso Umberto. There is a nice fountain there as well. The overlook down to the sea and the beach far below is quite impressive as well. The cannoli’s in the shop across from the square are to die for. It is a charming little town and a wonderful place to spend the day.

We booked this walking tour while still in the UK, no problem with communication on arrangements for Ciara to pick us up from our accommodation. We were picked up and driven to park up where we would start our tour of Taormina. It was a tour packed full of interesting historical facts about the town as well as Sicily in general. Taken to little streets off the tourist trap and constantly being amazed by Ciara in depth knowledge of things. We ended at the Amphitheatre with our tickets having been purchased in advance by Ciara to avoid the long queues. We did this tour on the first full day of our holiday and we are glad we did, I feel it’s set us up to look at the stay in Taormina in a different way. Many thanks to Ciara it was a great way to spend a full morning.
