Chiara is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Taormina and it’s history. She led us on an enjoyable walk through parts of the old town with an emphasis on the Greek/Roman Theater. You can do all this on your own, but Chiara’s passion for the town and its sights adds so much to the experience.

Our tour guide Chiara was wonderful! Not only did she share her wealth of history of Italy and the island of Sicily but she was also a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Taormina. We learned so much during our time with her.

Chiara was wonderful! She was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely nice to talk to. We learned a ton about Taormina and enjoyed it immensely. There is so much history here and she communicated it brilliantly.

Jerry was great!! Knowledgeable and showed us all the highlights of Taormina in 3 hours. We did a little tasting of local deserts and had a great experience!

We were so pleased that we booked this tour with Chiara.
She has in depth knowledge of the history of Sicily that she shares effortlessly.
We walked around a bit & spent most of our time at the very important Greek theater where she explained the history & guided us to the very best spots.
Chiara shared some interesting facts & background that only an expert can know.
The tour was enjoyable & quite educational.
Highly recommended.

This tour was fantastic in every way. Communication from the moment we booked the tour was prompt and professional. We knew exactly where and when to meet with Chiara, who is a fabulous guide with a wealth of knowledge about her beautiful home of Taormina. As others have mentioned, her credentials allowed us to skip the lines at the Greek Theatre, and her in-depth knowledge of that site gave us great appreciation for its history and cultural significance. But that was just one small portion of what was an excellent adventure through the winding streets of Taormina. We sampled local treats like pistachio granita while we feasted on Chiara’s extensive commentary about the colorful history and unique features of Taormina. It was a perfect day that we will never forget. Grazie mille, Chiara!

It may be the name of the tour but Chiara Rozzi IS the Pearl of Sicily. We had walked a number of the streets of Taormina before our tour but she made them come alive with the history. She’ll take you off the beaten path and you’ll learn so much more than you could on your own. She’s a wealth of knowledge, ask her questions and you’ll be amazed. At the Ancient Theatre her credentials allowed us to go to the front of the line for our tickets. Ask her to take you to Nove’ for the pistachio cream cappuccino, it’s a treat you won’t forget.

Are the roads very steep and are they flat or cobbled? how long does the tour last?

Dear Gretta, to visit Taormina we need to walk along the pedestrian area but if you have trouble with steep ways we can take a taxi to get to the entrance of the theatre, even if it is not that steep.

Sono disponibile la mattina dalle 8:30/9:00 fino alle 11:30 oppure dopo pranzo dalle 14:30/15:00 in poi. Per una visita di circa due ore chiedo € 120. Gli ingressi per il teatro costano € 10 per adulto.
