We went in early June so it wasn't crowded and the water was clean. We enjoyed our day here as a respite from the crowds in town. Also had a nice lunch at the restaurant. Enjoyed watching people jumping off the rocks.

Truly awful. A traffic-choked, filthy dirty, terrible mess with a horrible, stony little beach, packed edge-to-edge with expensive sunloungers. Save yourself the cable car fare and just don't go. Really.

It is easy to get to when you ride the cable car from Taormina, but there is not much free beach to enjoy. Most of the beach is private, taken up by hotels, and there are many boats which come and go in the area...More

The water is clear and beautiful. The sun beds are expensive but that is Raormina. good restourants, also a bit expensive. You can find jellyfish in the see some time so be cautious.

The ride down from Taormina affords a spectacular view albeit thru grimy windows. The beach is accessed by a tunnel under the rail line and there are a cluster of restaurants with great views our favorite is lido Di Pigna .beach lounges are for rent...More

Although pebbly and you have to pay to stay in particular areas of the beach (10 euros per person for a sunbed and umbrella) there is a public area which was just as good. There are local boats which take you round the coastline to...More

Was there briefly for the day and the water was beautiful, a boat tour would probably be a good choice to explore the coastline and coves nearby. I was surprised to see so many people laying on the "beach" which is not soft and sandy...More

Nothing to like, although it was still out of they main season and nothing open which was fine, the condition of the beach and the town appeared dirty and unloved
