We booked an evening at the Italian opera. It was in a stone concert hall c.100 seats. A great Bulgarian singer entertained us for a very good concert indeed. Thoroughly recomemended.

Im sure if your an Opera fan this is fantastic. However, this was my first time & I won't be going to another Opera. The venue is lovely & the singers are very talented, but just not my cup of tea.

If you are an opera fan, pass on this one. It is to opera what a run down coffee house is to Broadway. There are 2 opera students singing some opera arias in a bare stage. Sadly not so entertaining.

The performers are uniformly excellent. Although the first half of the show is somewhat prosaic and mechanical, the second half really comes alive and the performers and audience were both hugely enjoying themselves. There was humour, but not in that arch way which can be...More

An excellent pianist accompanied a good soprano and an average tenor to an oddment of arias. We have been to similar recitals where the choice of arias were better. Most disappointing was the lack of chemistry between the two vocalists. It’s not expensive and the...More

A talented display of a soprano, tenor and pianist, sometimes solo and sometimes altogether singing songs from operas both well known and lesser known. The pianist played a solo intemezzo in each half and showed fantastic skill. The soprano and tenor were both talented singers...More

Nice evening out, took the kids, singers and pianist were fab. Don’t understand why someone would give 2 stars and say half time drinks were appalling! They give you a free fizz or water and some nibbles on the terrace, which I enjoyed. Not posh....More

Hi Abby The show I saw was in the theatre in the town, it is inside. There are shows held in the Ancient Greek theatre which is the open but you will need to check whether there is anything on when you are visiting.

It is possible to access with a wheelchair arriving from via Don Bosco and not from the square below, there is a disabled bathroom on the same floor as the concert hall.
