Older art work on the walls shows its heritage, clearly a very loved church in town, clean, well worth the visit

Walked to the top of the hill for a visit. Very serene setting that encourages you to stop and meditate. Don't forget to look over at the lovely valley below after visiting inside.

We walked from the town centre up to the Basilica. How do people live in these areas where the streets are so steep and park their cars on these hills? A fascinating and beautiful walk that makes the mind wonder how people live in such...More

Hard hike up, but interesting way of the cross on the walk down. This old church is well worth a look and to see the relics of the patron saint of this town

Well-loved basilica above Cortona. It is clear that this one is cared for and appreciated, thanks to many small and large touches. Worth the effort to see if you are visiting Cortona.
