There is a very nice sculpture of the famous poet Dante in a corner of piazza Santa Croce.. Nice square with lots of cafes And can surf and enjoy the beauty around

As an Italian-American it is scary to realize how much we are not exposed or taught about the greatness of Italy's past. Yes, Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli are well known, but great men like Botticelli and Dante are never discussed and explored like they should.
