A gentleman outside the academia galleria approached us for a guided tour. We were a bit hesitant at first but decided to take the tour. Annalisa Menconi was our official guide. She is a very charming lady and has a good knowledge about the art...More

We were sold tickets for Duomo by one of The Gladiator vendors outside the Duomo. It was €40 each but worth it as it gave you quick access to the Duomo, with a guide to explain history. You could then explore the museum, bell tower...More

I have just finished my gladiator tour of the Duomo. It was lovely. I just want to mention my TourGuide Violetta, who made the tour for me. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Two of my party members decided that they couldn’t finish the climb,...More

It's 45 euros pp to go to the top of the Duomo. For the short duration and the rather uninteresting guide it's alot of money. Would recommend buying tickets yourself and looking up info online or in a guide book

We met one of the gladiator tour guides in the piazza del duomo and he convinced us to sign up! We managed to bargain down to 35 euros per ticket and this included a guided tour of the dome, queue jump and entrance into other...More

My daughter and I arrived in Florence without pre-booking any tours. As we began our first day of sightseeing, we were greeted in front of the Duomo by Fadi of Gladiator Tours. He assessed what we wanted to see and he diligently went to work...More

Thanks Veronika to a best tour that we have ever experienced. Our teenage doughter listened to Veronika like she is God (or talking about new episode of Star Wars😀👊).

Excelent tour with Violeta. The tour was very efficient and not too much after so many steps. Go for it. After all that steps you will have time to treat yourself with a lovely gelato and tiramisu instead of standing on queues all day. All...More

Just wanted to thank Veronica, she was both knowledgeable and easy to understand. Really made the trip up the duomo worth while.

Veronica was most knowledgeable with regard to both the artistic/technical aspects of the artefacts and the background facts of both the specific piece of art and the political/social history of Renaissance in Florence. Very insightful and enjoyable 90 minutes showing us the highlights of the...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
