Compared to not just the Duomo but so many other churches in Florence the outside of this building seems rather plain. But inside there is much to be admired so if it is open then go in and enjoy.

I was very impressed when I saw the altar. It is so beautiful and there is a wonderful organ there. The church is interesting too. There are many beautiful paintings in its walls.
