Three of us (two adults and one child) had a full days private 'wine and countryside tour'. We were promised beautiful scenery, great wine and food. Guido delivered his promises. We were promptly and comfortably driven around in a spotlessly clean Mercedes MPV. We visited Greve in Chianti for a drink and meander around the village, Castellina in Chianti where... More

My family and I (group of 5) toured Tuscany with Guido yesterday. I cannot express how wonderful our day was. Guido is not only knowledgeable about wine and tasting, but about the history of the country as well. The wineries we were brought to in Chianti were all equally beautiful and tasty. Lunch was amazing, delicious and served with great... More

We recently enjoyed a lovely tour of Chianti with Guido! If you are thinking of taking one of his tours, do it! Guido arrived at our Villa in Siena in a beautiful and comfortable van and he whisked us away for a lovely day. Our first destination was San Gimagnano lovely medieval town not far from Siena. On the drive,... More

Spending a day in Tuscany was a "must do" for my husband and I on our recent Mediterranean cruise. We researched multiple options for a wine tour from the port in Livorno and decided on Guido's Tour and it was an absolute highlight of our vacation. We invited a few friends to join us and had a small group of... More

We loved our excursions with Guido. He took us to San Gimignano and Siena. Guido was a very competent and cautious driver as he showed us the countryside on our way to these places. l He then recommended wonderful restaurants for lunch and also included extra sites he thought we would enjoy. All the while, Guido, who is a sommelier,... More

Guido met us at the cruise port in Livorno and took us first to San Gimignano (before the crowds got there). After a short time there, we embarked on our first winery. This place was a little commerical, but had great wines and an incomparable view. After an arranged lunch, we moved on to another winery, a small, family owned... More

I have always wanted to sit in a vineyard in Tuscany whilst drinking a glass of wine. Guido made that happen. We were on an 11 day Mediterranean cruise; Livorno was the second port. Most people on a cruise go to Florence, but there were group of us who were all about the wine. Guido (yes, his name is really... More

We spent a day with Guido in Sienna and the Chianti region. Above all, he is an excellent guide. Engaging and knowledgeable, Guido is also pleasant companion. He took us to a little place called Albergacchi Osteria for lunch. It was one of the two best meals we had during our entire two and a half week trip through Italy... More

My husband & I were in Florence for the first time & wanted to take a day to see the countryside & visit a couple of wineries. I found Guido on Trip Advisor & am so grateful I did. He shared so much about wine & the area with us that we both felt his love for it. The 2... More

Guido's tour was excellent. He was timely, polite and very knowledgeable and sought to make sure he met all the requests we made for our trip. The place he recommended for lunch in Montalcino was arguably our best meal of the trip and we had a couple interesting historical stops along our wine tour. We were very pleased. Thanks Guido!
