We did the tour with two 10 yr olds and a 8 yr old and it was their favorite part of Florence. Valentina was an excellent English guide - providing historical information, quizzing us, and injecting dry humor. The route was very safe and flat with oblivious pedestrians being the only hazards to avoid. The gelato at the end was... More

We had a wonderful morning on the food and bike tour with Benedetta, who was fun and clearly passionate about her city which was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and ran a great tour. As bike tours go this one was fairly relaxed and we didn't have to navigate any heavy traffic - just narrow lanes and people. This tour... More

So happy you appreciated the kind of tours we offer and my job, too! In Florence you cannot miss food and a bike ride, so we decided to put them together and I was sure my guests would have appreciated it! Grazie Grazie Grazie! Benedetta (: More

This was an excellent way to see Florence and keep my teens from getting bored. The food tasting was an added bonus. We loved it!

If you're looking for a way to see the city quickly and yet thoroughly, this is your solution! This tour should be done at the beginning of your stay and is a perfect welcome to this beautiful city. Our tour guide Vanessa (I think that was her name) was fantastic and really made everyone feel welcome. It was so fun... More

Our bicycle and food tasting tour was a great time! Angela was so knowledgeable about the area and Florence's history, and provided a great overview of the city, including suggestions about places we might want to return and visit on our own. Also, the riding was not at all strenuous, so don't let that scare you off (though there were... More

Thank you for choosing us and appreciating my Job. You are right, the tour is perfect if you need to get oriented in the city, since it covers about 6 miles of Florence city center, and probably for my suggestions about places to visit and things to do. It is the same for the bike tour in Rome, or segway... More

amazing!! we have been to florence several times but seeing it with Christina an art historian was a fascinating experience. In 3 hours we explored all areas of florence and had a better perspective on the layout and the historical significance of many areas that we would have never noticed. Christina is so in love with her city ..it's very... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
