If you're looking for a way to see the city quickly and yet thoroughly, this is your solution! This tour should be done at the beginning of your stay and is a perfect welcome to this beautiful city. Our tour guide Vanessa (I think that was her name) was fantastic and really made everyone feel welcome. It was so fun... More

Our bicycle and food tasting tour was a great time! Angela was so knowledgeable about the area and Florence's history, and provided a great overview of the city, including suggestions about places we might want to return and visit on our own. Also, the riding was not at all strenuous, so don't let that scare you off (though there were... More

Thank you for choosing us and appreciating my Job. You are right, the tour is perfect if you need to get oriented in the city, since it covers about 6 miles of Florence city center, and probably for my suggestions about places to visit and things to do. It is the same for the bike tour in Rome, or segway... More

amazing!! we have been to florence several times but seeing it with Christina an art historian was a fascinating experience. In 3 hours we explored all areas of florence and had a better perspective on the layout and the historical significance of many areas that we would have never noticed. Christina is so in love with her city ..it's very... More

We booked a cruiser bike tour of Firenze (Florence) on our first full day in the city. It gave us a nice overview of the town and helped us decide which sites to go back to and visit in the following two days. Good quality 5 speed bikes and helmets were provided. Our guide was well informed and gave us... More

This was a fabulous experience. .biking around Florence, seeing sights, and having a delightful leader/guide. The tour culminated with an uphill trek to view the city from an amazing spot, and then a stop for delicious Gelato. It was not too difficult and any novice biker could manage it. The group was a good size, maybe 10, and even in... More

The tour was great. By bike is a really good way to see the city. Guide was lovely, very knowledgable. Gelato stop very welcome! I'd do this again and will look to do similar in other cities too.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
