We booked a tour with Maurizio Bellini for a day during our trip to Italy. It was perfect. Mau picked us up at our apartment on time, and took us on a wonderful private tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the region. We visited San Gimignano, and had a private lunch at a winery. Wine was our... More

A private tour with Mau is highly recommended - from collection at our hotel until we were dropped off somewhat exhausted many hours later. Mau is very knowledgeable and passionate about "his" Florence and the Tuscany region. This is the best way to find out about the history of the area whilst visiting the sites. Our tour and lunch at... More

We spent five days traveling back and forth between Rome and Florence, and throughTuscany and Chianti with Mau. His love for, and knowledge of, his country is obvious and helps to make you a traveller and not a tourist. The trips to Sienna, Sana Gimi, etc and to other walled cities and vineyards were exceptional because of Mau's knowledge and... More

My fiance and I took a one-day private tour of Tuscany with Maurizio this past spring and we loved it! He was very accomodating and helped us to prioritize what we would like to see that day. He picked us up in a very comfortable Mercedes Mini Van and we drove to the town of San Gimignano which is about... More

We found Maurizio through Trip Advisor, and our tour exceeded our expectations. We first went to the lovely town of San Gimignano, and enroute we were presented with an endless supply of facts and history. Through some miscommunication, we ended up going to a private vineyard in Tuscany instead of Sienna, but had absolutely no regrets! A private tour through... More

Maurizio was completely wonderful! My wife and I spent 1 day touring Tuscany and had the greatest time. He was very personable, knowledgable and not over-bearing. We were instantly comfortable in his company. The Chianti vineyard he took us to, was phenomenal- make sure you eat lunch there. Probably the best food we had over the entire 2 week Italy... More

Mau was an excellent tour guide with a great sense of humour- my family and I (a group of 8) thoroughly enjoyed the day. He was more than happy to be flexible, tailoring the tour to our interests- he took us to a fantastic winery (Tenuta Torciano) for private wine tasting with lovely food- the best lasagne (with truffle oil)... He is a good guide, shows us Chianti classical wineries and wine yards. It was quite informative and we loved the beautiful landscape and mountain of Tuscany.

Maurizio picked us up at our hotel as planned. We were given a tour of the city of Florence and then headed out to Chianti country where he took us to a spectacular winery.
