My boyfriend and I did a cooking class in hosted in the Tuscan hills! This was non just a class but a tour of Florence's beautiful markets. We made so much food with several glasses of wonderful wine. Out of the 3 week vacation this day was by far our favorite. We made Bruscetta, pizza, pasta, pork roast/potatoes, gelato and... More

I took the "Cooking class at a farmhouse in tuscany" on the 4th of January of this year 2017, and was wonderful , I really loved it. Everyone, Gloria, Olivia, Isaac and Carmela were really nice. Gloria gave me the tour before arriving to the farmhouse, and she was great, she taught us about local culture and customs, about olive... More

My husband and I took the Vespa Tour in late December. It was a beautiful, chilly, sunny day. The Tuscan scenery was totally amazing and the delicious lunch at a scenic overlook was just....Wow! I would say it was easily one of the best meals we had during our entire visit to Italy. Angel was our tour guide. He is... More

A wonderful visit with two excellent and knowledgeable guides into the history of Florence away from the usual tourist traps, into the back streets, look at architectural hints of past history, into a market and experience shopping for the required items to be used in a cooking class. Visited a farm house in the hills overlooking the city and meet... More

We booked the tour before arriving to Italy. We had the best time with our tour guide Olivia Ana our driver Ricardo. She is very professional and patient. We got to visit Siena, San Gimigniano and Pisa. The timing was perfect and it didn't feel 11 hours long. We visited the farm and ate a very delicious meal, great wine-... More

This was our favorite tour EVER!! So fun. There were 16 of us, most were around 30 years old, and couples. Francisco was our guide and he did a fantastic job. The walking food history tour in Florence was interesting, the time in the huge Florence Market was fantastic. The home was located up above the Michelangelo View Point above... More

This was our absolute favorite highlight of our trip! We had such an amazing time with the group. Elisa, the chefs and the other tour guide (I am sorry I can't remember her name) were all so fantastic! Elisa started us out with a walking tour and we learned so much on this tour! We went to three different places... More

I highly recommend this cooking class. My daughter and I learned so much and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. Elisa is the perfect tour guide. She is warm and funny with lots of great information about Florence and the food in the region. The other guides and chefs were also very fun and experienced. The recipes were... More

This tour delivers what it promises -- which is a heck of a lot of sightseeing for one day (11 hours -- we departed at 8:30 AM and returned at 7:30 PM). The tour guide we had, Olivia, was lovely, organized, informative, and highly professional and charming throughout the day. The bus driver was also competent and amiable. The first... More

We had a great time on our cooking class adventure! The tour kicks off with a short tour around Florence and a little bit of history on the city. You'll visit the food market where you'll get the ingredients for your courses. The bus will take you to the beautiful home where you'll do the cooking. The chefs are quite... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
