I went on a pre booked "skip the line" tour. We still had to queue for almost 40 mins but apparently this related to the number of tickets the Gallery sold and how fast others left the Gallery. Crowds a bit off-putting but art impressive....More
... you’ll love the Uffizi! It was so busy and be prepared to queue and experience the more negative sides of human nature in such situations. But, it means you get to see Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo and centuries of collected art in one incredible place....More
You go to the Uffizi to see great works of art and it does not disappoint. I do suggest that you buy the guidebook to take with you as view the art. We bought tickets on line before hand and appreciated the opportunity to get...More
Make sure you buy a ticket in advance for a time as the queue is big. We got there on time and wanted 10 minutes but that was due to security checks. The ticket includes two other places if bought through museums Florence and lasts...More

The Uffizi is a beautiful museum for art fans, especially from Italian artists.

Having been looking forward to visiting the "Uffizi Galleries" I was not disappointed.Ok there the queuing and the heat and the Galleries are busy, but what a place. What paintings, history before you eyes, delightful.A must visit place.
Pre-booking is definitely a good tip to avoid the largest of the long lines of queues, this place is one of the top attractions and once inside you can understand why. Nice views of Florence and the hills from the internal corridors.
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the
Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
