Nice and beautiful

The Piazza is absolutely beautiful, regardless the weather and the time of the day or year. All the buildings there are having thei own spirit.

This is a very beautiful square with the Fountain of Neptune. Pretty interesting thing to see and there are a lot of other beautiful things to see off this square as well as all the beautiful buildings around it. I didn't spend a lot of time lingering in the square however I did walk through it quite frequently on my... More

This is one of Europe's great outdoor spaces, featuring a whole lot of priceless statuary in the finest Carrara marble, plus, marked in the pavement, the spot where Savonarola was burned.

This place feeling is very good, mainly in the evening with musicians. You can dance, and laugh a lot.

This expansive piazza has great statues and architecture. The most impressive statue is the replica of the David in front of City Hall. Most times we were in the piazza it was crowded with tourists, except one morning when I got out early to go to the ATM. It was deserted except for a couple of delivery men. It was... More

One of the main area in Florence - Piazza della Signoria. Where harmonically located old authentic statues in the main circle, art gallery and latest shopping district with top brands. Also if you are looking for fashion museum, it's just around the corner "Gucci Museum". Must visit plaza Signoria!

This is the place to stroll around and feel like a renaissance person. Beautiful sculptures (not all originals) and fountains adorn this piazza. Many fascinating sites only a stones throw from this piazza. Close to the Vecchio Palace. Good place to sit and just people watch.

Fabulous castle, now houses the town hall. Some great exhibits around the piazza (not the original) but same beauty.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
