We booked a tour with Alessandro for a corporate event. Alessandro was the best and most accommodating guide we could ask for, from the first email to all other subsequent requests (and we had a lot of amendments), he was responsive and nailed everything! He created a special tour just for our group to give us exactly what we were asking for. We combined a gravel and road tour, asked for a high quality winery for lunch, he added in a coffee pit stop at the requested time. We did 40km in total and he was patient with everyone in our group of 8. The photos that were taken were fantastic! Well worth booking your Tuscan bike tour with Alessandro and his team. Our group could not stop raving about it.

My family of 11 did a full day Cinque Terra tour from Tuscany with Stefano. There were 6 adults and 5 children and he made the trip memorable for all of us. From the pickup to the drop off Stefano and his other driver Jonnie were very courteous and professional. We were able to see all 5 cities by train and boat plus he also set up a wonderful lunch for us. Stefano took care of everything all we had to do was follow him. Plus on the way back to Tuscany Stefano stopped at Pisa so everyone could see the leaning tower. I would highly recommend Stefano for the Cinque Terra trip plus any other tours in Tuscany and Florence that he does.

Great hike through beautiful forested hills on the outskirts of Florence. Had a great five mile hike with fabulous host. Stefano was wonderful and knowledgeable about the history, geography and ecology of the region. Some of the most spectacular views of Florence and region just a short drive from city center up above Fiesole. He went out of his way to gather snacks for a group of four including a vegan selection of treats. Oh and we went to the place where Leonardo had one of his interns try out a flying machine…

I can't say enough wonderful things about Out of the Box Florence and our tour of Chianti area wineries and San Gimignano. Stefano arranged for us to have a (customized) private tour of two wineries- Querceto di Catstellina (with an amazing lunch) and Tenute Casenuove (beautiful estate winery and tour). When many other tour guides could not accommodate, Stefano went out of his way to find a way for us to visit beautiful Tuscany with a private guide. He was beyond accommodating to all of our requests and asked about food allergies without prompting. Our tour guide was Johnny who was prompt, polite, knowledgable and made sure our day was truly memorable. Communication throughout the process was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. I would not hesitate to book with Out of the Box Florence- One of our favorite tours of the trip!

We will never forget our beautiful tour of Florence with Steffano and Out of the Box. He took our small group off the beaten track and showed us the best food and wine that Florence has to offer. The tour was tailored to our time frame and interests and felt very personal. The complete opposite of the herding cattle-like bigger tours we saw all around us. If you want to experience authentic Florence from a local, Steffano is your man. Thank you ! We have such wonderful memories of our Europe trip thanks to you.

This was my second tour with Out of the Box, and first with Stefano. It was truly the best part of our time in Tuscany! My daughters and I enjoyed a private day tour at 2 wineries that were incredibly personable. Stefano also arranged for us to enjoy lunch at a local trattoria that was delicious! You will not regret booking any type of tour (trekking, biking, wineries) with Stefano- he is such a wealth of knowledge and has a great sense of humor. Arrivederci, Stefano!

During our recent trip to Cinque Terre and Tuscany we had an unforgettable experience with Stefano (Out of the Box, Florence)
He had an amazing depth of knowledge about Italian history, bringing it alive as we traveled through the beautiful countryside of both Cinque Terre and Tuscany.
He took us to some truly wonderful restaurants and wineries in the areas of Chianti Classico and Val d’ Orcia with breathtaking viewpoints (sometimes off the beaten path!)
We had a delicious and authentic Italian
cooking class in the picturesque mountains of Chianti Classico.
He truly gave us an enriching and absolute genuine Tuscan experience!!!
Thank you Stefano for making this trip an adventure of a lifetime!

We went on 3 separate excursions from Florence with Johnny as our guide. He was so knowledgeable, considerate, and friendly as he took us to the Cinque Terre, Chianti (Wine Tour), and Emilia Romagna (food tour). Our entire family (8 people including a toddler) were so grateful to have Stefano’s help in planning our trip and Johnny as our guide.
Each trip took us to “out of the box” locations and places that would not have been accessible if we would have tried to plan the trips on our own.

We did hire Stefano as a private guide to take me and my daughter to explore Tuscany country side. We spent 5 days in Florence and it was perfect break to leave the hot city and spend it with a hot and hysterically funny Italian guide The Stefano. Two full days exploring Tuscany Hills were worth every penny. tons of fantastic memories and laughter. I would highly recommend his services. We are already planning another trip to Italy and Stefano will be part of it for sure.

Out of the box Florence is one of the best Tour Guides we have ever had! Their experience takes you away from the touristy areas and into places that are remote, special, unique, and charming. We visited a town in Tuscany with amazing views, had lunch at a house where they cooked some of the best food we had during our trip, and visited hot springs. We also went to a beautiful winery.
This was our second time with Out of the Box Florence. A few years ago, we went hiking around the hills of Florence, wine tasting while hiking between vineyards.
This is an experience everyone should have while visiting Florence and taking a step away from the tourist sites!
Out of the box Florence, we will be back! Ciao and thank you!
