This was an outstanding tour. All of the highlights were covered, and the tour guide was excellent. She was easy to understand, and she was very patient and thorough. I highly recommend this tour and this tour guide.
Helma was our wonderful guide who showed us the most vital parts of the Accademia then pointed out various landmarks on the walking tour following the museum visit. We could never have known this info on our own so it was fantastic to get both...More
At 8:30am, there isn't a line to skip, so that advantage is out of the equation. We were the first group in the Accademia, but our guide, Marilena, took so long with the non-star art in the first room that several groups had made their...More

Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the
Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.

Yes it is a great way to see venice. You get out of the train station and go right to the boat dock in front and book tockets on the ferry to st. Marks. You can go either directionbut i prefer the direction to the left as you face the canal. Ask which one it is. You can then spend s leisurely day walkink back to train station and seeing the sights and shops along the way. Get a good map
