Our project was born on 1980. Just after a master in Philosophy, Moradei Andrea founded in collaboration with other teachers the Italian language and culture centre for foreigners Koinè. This is the starting date for all our Italian language and culture programs. In 1996 we opened the Enoteca de’ Giraldi, offering a cultural approach to Tuscan wine and food. The Enoteca was from the first moment both a wine restaurant then a point of meeting for people interested in wine tasting, cooking lessons and wine tours. In 2003 we opened the wine and food services agency Vinarium, with the aim of offering the best of our wine and food culture, and at the same time guaranteeing amusement and professionalism to our clients. Today Vinarium offers guided wine tasting in the best Florentine enotecas, cooking lessons in historical buildings and guided visits to the best Tuscan wine makers.

What a wonderful trip. We weren't too sure what we wanted to do, but knew we wanted a 5 day tour of the Amalfi Coast. Andrea handled absolutely everything from booking the hotels, restaurants, train and tour tickets, drivers and tour guides. We decided to stay in Positano and used it as our home base. Our driver Paulo was wonderful.... More

We had a cooking class with Cosette while in Florence and it was a great experience. We were taken to the local farmers market and had a choice in what we were going to learn to make. We made ravioli, zucchini blossoms, fava beans, bruschetta, and strawberry tiramisu. Cosette's english was perfect and her methods easy to understand. We had... More

I was referred to Andrea M. from another tour due to us wanting to personalize a Chianti tour with a cooking class. As we began planning, I quickly realized I wished I had "met" Andrea M. prior to have been able to plan our whole trip. He is so incredibly phenomenal and patient as we had lots of questions. He... We had a really wonderful time on the Chianti Classico tour. We took the high speed train up from Rome for the day, and Andrea picked us up at the train station. We stopped for coffee in Greve, a wonderful little town, visited a winery, had an amazing lunch (at a spot George Clooney had visited just a week or... More

In June 2015, we hired Vinarium for a wine tour through the Tuscany countryside. We visited four wineries and also had lunch at a place of Andrea's recommendation in San Casciano. Valentina, our tour guide, picked us up promptly at 9am from our villa. She speaks perfect English and is cheerful and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region... More

Andrea from Vinarium organized a wonderful wine tour for us in the Piemonte region of Italy. Claudia was our driver and Maria was our guide. Andrea arranged for us to stay at Corte Gondia, a boutique hotel in La Morra right in the center of the wine region. It was lovely. Maria booked several wineries for us to visit to... More
