Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A must-do place to visit while in Florence. This amazing religious estate offers a taste of life for Dominican friars but, more impressively, a wide range of amazing fresco paintings in their dormitories, of which a large number are by Fra Angelico (15th century). To really appreciate the skills and time put into these pieces, you really must visit the Church and the dormitories. In addition, there are lots of other unique historical treasures, including 15th-century manuscripts used for music. A must-do place to visit.

If you have plenty of time and are into walking on gravel and up hills do visit. I stupidly thought it was a garden not just trees and statues.. Seem to take forever just to exit.

Not a wine tour, it is a walking tour of sights with a stop at a wine shop at the end! You also have to drink the wine at this location in a plastic glass.

If you are looking for a wine tour ie tasting wine at different locations then this is not the one be warned.

Vanessia was very knowledgable but went too fast and was hard to understand when she wore her mask.

Architecturally, in this case more is more. Today's billionaires couldn't do better. This is an excellent example of Michaelangelo's mannerism, the style that followed Brunelleschi's more restrained interpretation of Roman architecture.
The surprise was that in the side room, good old Lorenzo the Magnificent had a modest sarcophagus decorated with unfinished works by Michaelangelo. His descendants were treated better. Mike left for better opportunities in Rome before the work was finished. His design for the grand chapel wasn't constructed until much later.
We couldn't get skip the line tickets ahead of time but there were only six people in line when we got there in mid-morning.

Please be aware when you want to book this tour! It’s not at all what they promise. Despite a very professional tour guide and visiting some beautiful historical places… It had almost NOTHING to do with the novel or the movie. We had a history tour the day before and this didn’t ad any value on top of that. I normally don’t post comments like this and try to solve this with the touroperator. But they take days to respond and don’t acknowledge the fact that maybe 5% of the tour is about the book/novel.

Dear Mr Rick, you made our tour guide cry, as you were interrupting her every 2 seconds while she was touring. As I already stated Cristina is a very professional tour guide, perfecly built for our Inferno tour, a tour we are operating since the year 2013. The tour is 2 hours long: 1 hour inside Palazzo Vecchio and 1 hour walking tour on the tracks of Dan Brown's Novel. We are in Florence and of course the monuments need to be explained, as they are world's famous masterpieces of art. During the tour we speak about the Novel, i. e. what happened in every specific place AND about the monuments we see during the itinerary. Your behaviour was not fair at all towards the tour guide and towards the other members of the party, as it was a GROUP tour and not a private tour just for you. After the tour you contacted us many times and we gave you the logic answer about the tour. You were not satisfied by our answer, you contacted the Viator Support and we explained the same to our Viator partners. Yesterday you tried to threaten us writing to us that you would have come to the office and make a bad review. We are answering your review in the logic way facts have occured and we would have been at your disposal to talk with a coffee if you had come. We have not seen you in our office for the whole day. I want to let our readers know that Cristina got ALL 5 STAR reviews on this tour on the very same day you had it with her, despite your thousend interruptions . Have a nice day Susanna

The tour only took us to Palazzo Vechio and when we were supposed to go forward on the footsteps of Robert Langdon the guide told us that there are only 10 mins left and we don't have time. She lost a lot of time in every room of the Palace and we had 1 tourist who didn't know English so we had to wait on every explanation for the Spanish translation as well.

Dear Mr Paul, we are very sorry, someone on the tour was 35 minutes late, I do not remember if if were you. For this reason the guide had to enter the palace after Piazza Signoria, because the reservation was for 3:45 pm. The Palace is huge and it takes much time to explain all the hidden corners of the novel and some masterpieces themselves, like Vasari's frescoes, the Death Mask of Dante Alighieri and Michelangelo's Genius of the Victory and much much more. Our tour guide asked you if you had time to do the walking tour as well and YOU said you had to go somewhere else. Anyhow, next time you come to Florence, pls contact us and we will offer you another Inferno tour for free
