This was a well priced and entertaining show. The church is beautiful. All the musicians were quite talented. The singers were very good. If you are looking for a full opera experience then this is not the show for you. You will have to pay far more money for a real opera than this show is. It was none the less very entertaining and provided for a fun evening. Please do not spend the money on the front row (most expensive) seating. You have the same view from the middle (where we sat) and back seats and the prices for these categories are more affordable. With that said, if you are one who wants to be picked by the characters of the show to do a little dance with them, then you should probably pay for the expensive seats and maybe they will choose you.
All in all this was a fun little activity with a mix of lovely music, better known opera numbers, and some fun Italian songs that we all know and love.

A 100 meter away from the ponte vecchio, you can find this hidden church with very simple exterior. Unnoticed or Negligible by most tourists due to its location yet a beautiful interior, served as multi-functioned church because some concerts, orchestra held at this church. Also, every year the Communita' di Sant'Egidio held here the annual Christmas lunch for the poor (pranzo di natale) though everybody is welcome.

Disappointing and barely 3 stars. A lovely church, but an amateur performance. The three tenor's suits must have been at the cleaners as they were dressed very casually and the middle tenor was obviously a stand in - his voice was well below par. Lots of time was taken walking on and off the stage between songs, it was a very disjointed performance and barely an hour of music played. I booked on line where the only tickets offered cost €50 each which was a rip off for what we saw and heard. I think you can buy cheaper seats for the back rows (only 10 yds from the front rows) which cost €25 each and maybe just about worth it... but I certainly wouldn't recommend this to a friend. The saving grace was the brilliant Chinese pianist who was beautifully turned out and held the performance together.
I suggest you go to St Marks Operas (no more than ½ mile from here) for a fabulous evening of beautiful voices, lovely atmosphere and far superior productions at better prices. This is no comparison!

After a very long day- up at 3am to catch the flight to Pisa , then on to Florence and sightseeing, we were looking forward to sitting and listening to this evening concert in St Stephens Auditorium. (Pre booked)
The programme was pacherbel’s Canon, Air by JS Bach, Night Music by Mozart and the highlight , Vivaldi’s 4 seasons. Spell binding. The 6 artists ( the orchestra da camera Fiorentina) were amazing and gave an outstanding performance. Would recommend.

We went to a 3 Tenors concert here and thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the singers and of the musicians. The singers were all of opera quality, with the older/stockier guy a cut above the others. The concert was just long enough, and we were able to have a 7PM dinner a few blocks away before the concert. The acoustics of the hall were wonderful. The concert was entitled 'Nessun Dorma' and we were very disappointed that they did not sing that particular area during the program.

First, my friends and I booked the tickets through music-opera.com, which costed 33 euro per person; then to find out at the ticket office it costs only 25 euro for adults and 20 euro for students (we are all students). So, buy your ticket at their ticket office. Don't book it on music-opera.com which is a complete rip-off.
Secondly, the concert itself is totally not worth the money. You can spend as little as 10 euro as student anywhere in Europe - London Royal Opera House, Paris, Rome, Berlin... for excellent performances; but here, for 33 euro you get the lower category seats and the three tenors really don't sound very impressing at all. Especially, one of them really really doesn't sound very good at all. I am a student studying opera myself. I have no way of figuring out how that guy really made it because there are so many opera singers on the street sound better than him ..
Overall it's a "Florence" experience if you want to make it because the venue is a beautiful church but the performance really isn't up to standard.

We were lucky enough to find this concert while we were in Florence. Wonderful concert hall with great acoustics. Very close to the Ponte Vecchio. The ensemble was excellent. Pachelbel, Bach, Mozart, and Vivaldi. Just wonderful. Website said they were sold out but checking at the box office we found that seats were readily available. Many fine restaurants in the area which made for a memorable evening.

An excellent concert by three very entaining tenors, backed by piano, double bass and another instrument I can’t remember the name think it was a Lute. Terrific voices and aucustics in this old church, about 1 1/4 hours long. Sang opera favourites and everyone gave them a standing ovation. Well worth the visit. Just buy the centre or back seating, no need to pay for the front the auditorium is not big enough to make any difference, we sat in the centre. No photos or video allowed as they sell their own dvd’s.

We attended the Monet exhibit here in the afternoon and then attended a classical music concert in the evening. Both events were well worth the price of admission. We will be back next year to see their offerings.

Similar to another review here, we paid €13 each for a small room with a handful of exhibits. A very annoying family hogged two VR headsets for ages, whilst around 20 people queued behind them. The girl on the desk did nothing to intervene and I was told that the VR experience took 10 minutes. The projection in the other room was very slick but didn't give any particular depth or detail to Da Vinci, his life or his machines. We watched the show, agreed that he was a genius and that we had been ripped off. The family were still enjoying the VR headsets as we left.

Hi, Pinsey60. What would you like to know about this attraction?
Just a couple of questions: Where did you sit (front, middle, or back?) Did you sit on folding chairs, if so was it hard sitting for long? How were the acoustics? Does this place serve any beverages, can a person have a beverage (water) while watching the performance? Are photos allowed? Did you get to meet the singers? Thank you.

Hi,
This is going to sound terribly uncouth, but I am visiting Firenze in June with some friends and I really want to go and see an opera here. The only way I can persuade one of the party to come with us, is if there is a bar....!
Does anyone know if there is? He still wants to see the opera so we can't banish him to a nearby tavern, but is there a place to get a glass of wine / beer during the evening?
Thanks in advance!

We were at the Three Tenors tribute this evening and ... NO BAR (even though we had been told there was).
