We loved this part of the city where the crowds passed through from early morning until well after dark. There are plenty of mimes and the kind of musicians who make it worthwhile to sit down on the steps and listen for a long time.

The statues here are impressive, as is the immediate area surrounding them. Definitely worth taking the time to walk around them and enjoy the atmosphere.

We stumbled on this whilst wandering Florence. Near the Uffizi, it is on the corner and is an open building with statues surrounded by some columns. Take you time and have a look it is well worth while. It built in the 1300's. Just amazing...More
