Alberto Adami KNOWS leather and he KNOWS people and their measurements. Knowing my wife and I came from Seattle, he custom tailored jacket from a hide that withstands water yet is just as stylish and supple as the finest leather. My wife's jacket, which shipped and arrived on time with mine, fit perfectly just as mine did. The style and... More

My friends and I found Diba Pelletterie when we were in the San Lorenzo area of Florence. Immediately we felt comfortable with Ali and his staff! We bought, leather jackets, fur vests and shawls. We even ordered a few things! Ali has been very responsive! We got our final pieces just before Christmas, just as promised. The items are beautiful... More

My fiance and I stumbled upon Alberto's shop while wandering around Florence and were immediately welcomed with open arms by his wife and team. They speak English incredibly well, are super friendly and were the most accommodating from any other shop we visited during our stay. Alberto even ordered coffees and offered them to us while we were shopping around!... More

Purchased 2 leather jackets Aug 2016, advised would receive in 2 weeks. I am 3rd generation Italian American with family still residing in Italy. I new it would be longer, especially since holidays (vacations) in Italy are mainly taken in August. I sent repeated emails to Mr Adami, with no response. I eventually sent a friend to the store to... More

After repeated emails, it took 4 months to get my jacket. If he has said 2 months and not 2 weeks, the store would have been 5 stars. In the end it is a beautiful jacket.

I bought these jackets from Diba in Florence near San Lorenzo. I wanted to review that shop but this is the only shop listed on trip advisor. Alberto Adami is still the proprietor of both shops. I spoke to Ali many times after placing my order with him. I'm convinced that the man is pathological liar. However, he will deliver... More

Alberto was very friendly in the store. He told us about how he lived in the US, and worked with us to select jackets. His prices were great. My boyfriend got a jacket in the store, and because I am petite, Alberto convinced me to get my jacket tailor made according to my exact proportions. He said his factory could... More

DIBA carries beautiful leather jackets, coats, vests, and handbags. Just make sure to walk out of the sore with them. I have been home from my trip for over 3 weeks and no such delivery has arrived after paying well over 1 $1500.00 american dollars. The store never answers the phone, yet thru a G-mail account assures us that our... More

I bought a jacket that he said would be fitted in his Firenza store on May, 13 2016. he promised delivery to the States in 2 weeks. July 7 after repeated emails with each response saying it will be delivered next week, Still no jacket. The man quite simply is a liar and a thief.

100 characters are too short to write the whole story. Bottom line is, DON’T BUY FROM THIS MAN!!! He is very nice in person and will definitely fool you. But he is a liar and absolutely full of it. Six months later, we received the jacket back a second time and it is still completely wrong. He was supposed to... More
