This might have been the highlight of our Italy trip. This place is great. While walking we came across La Bottega del Chianti and absolutely loved the place. The owner treats everyone like royalty, he passes out glasses of wine along with cheeses, meats and bread with olive oil. There is everything from wine, cheese, bread, vegetables and a hole lot of eclectic items for sale. I can’t write great enough reviews for this business. If your in Florence you have to stop by for a great authentic Italian experience. …

Gorgeous hand made olive wood cutting boards and spoons. Very reasonable prices. The charming owner plied us with wine and cheeses as we shopped. He and his brother made many of the wood items but you can find all kinds of things here. Wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, meats cheeses etc. Don't miss this place!…

As stated in other reviews, this little shop crammed with beautiful olive products, wine, cheeses, kitchen wares, ceramics, jewellery and with a shopfront dressed like no other, is an absolute joy! We came across it by accident towards the end of our stay in Florence when we were starting to become a little weary of the main tourist shops. This one is like no other we found. The hospitality was amazing and cheerful. We were offered wine, cheese, meats & fantastic truffle oil to taste and we came away with some limoncello and lovely gifts. Refreshingly, no English was spoken so useful to have google translate with us. Highly recommend a visit. …

This little shop is a MUST while visiting Florence! Upon walking in, my friends and I were greeted by such a sweet owner with a huge smile on his face. He was so excited to show us all of the items in his shop as well as have us try cheese, meats, and some fantastic wine! Its a genius idea to give people wine while shopping. We went in for 1 cutting board, and left with much more than that! The owner of this shop is so genuine and proud of his work. We must have spent 2 hours in his little shop and it was definitely a highlight of our trip!…
