The aquarium is not big, we walked through it for maybe 25 min. I expected to be bigger from what I read in the website. But it is worth visiting if you or your children love ocean live. They really have one shark and huge...More

We enjoyed our visit to the acauarium. It was clean and the staff was friendly. There were many things to see and we also like the land animal exhibits upstairs.

We visited on an unusually rainy morning ... the queue was horrendous and it took us an hour to get in. Exhibits are nicely presented, without really including any species you wouldn't expect. The exception is a pair of green turtles, which are active and...More

Not as big as some other aquariums but worth a visit; the turtles are certainly impressive. Don't miss the insects and iguanas on the first floor.

Kindly place with a lot colored fishes. It would be a good program with children. It was taken about one hour. There were some very big turtle and fishes. The children have enjoyed it.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
do the cruise ships dock within walking distance of the aquarium?
24 April 2016|
Response from 744ranierig |
It's a 35 minutes walk one way. City bus n.1 from Via Grande to the aquarium (and vice versa) makes the walk much shorter. Bus ticket are available at some tabacconists and some newspaper kiosks
