We walked or cycled everyday during our entire vacation in November. The weather was sunny and warm for autumn. A fantastic round trip of the wall is approximately 4.2 kms... the scenery is beautiful with ever changing landscaping and vista to the Old Town and...More

This a place to stroll around the wall city, sit and watch the cyclists, walkers and joggers; have a picnic or read a book. Relaxing any time of day in good weather.

We took a leisurely Autumn stroll along these wide walls, amid joggers, cyclists and other tourists, it was glorious! Pausing for a coffee, overlooking the cathedral, and then lunch nearby, before completing the scenic circuit of just over 4km.

Wonderful experience to walk around the wall which was build in the year 600. Inside the wall there's wonderful shops and great restaurants.

The wall took almost a hundred years to build and they didn’t remove it! Wonderful! It’s now a haven for walkers, cyclists and folks looking for a shady area to rest. It’s a giant park in the shape of a ring!

At least 2 bike hire places located close to the entry/exit points of the wall. Easy to spot in such a small town.
