Great to walk through and stop for a moment and look at buildings - but be careful! - some vehicles seem permitted to drive across Piazza, and there seems to be a 'free for all' as to where they and pedestrians go!!

Piazza dei Cavalieri is one of the most beautiful squares in Pisa., surrounded by nice historical buildings and one of them is university. It is "must to see" place.

There are so many nice buildings in the piazza it's worth going to have a look at them. If you are luck to be there on sun set you will be treated to a show of many colors as the building pick up the light us the sun sets.

We stumbled across this square whilst on our way to eat lunch. Beautiful in the sun shine and quintessential Italian with a few cars farting across in all different directions!

Piazza dei Cavalieri is good place to go to in Pisa if you have time to waste and you are wondering what to do. That said - there is nothing really that impressive about the square and after spending 15 minutes there you will probably get bored, at least I did. Still given that Pisa is a small city I... More

Amazing space which has historical buildings. There is a market that is there and it sells homeware, books, and clothing. In the grounds there are a University which I've been told It's an exclusive university and has 300 students. There is also a large church which only opens once a month, unfortunately we missed visiting whilst is was open. definitely... More

Perfectly formed with lovely buildings. Worth walking through on a stroll around the old town. Atmospheric at night too.

A very interesting piazza on route between the Tower area and the main shopping street. Seems to a favourite place for musicians to play. A very attractive old building with a decorated facia is the main feature of the piazza. A nice spot to walk through.

This piazza was breathtaking. The architecture was beautiful with buildings enclosing the unusual shaped piazza.
