A hike with Martina Manfredi from Corniglia and a private wine experience. We met her at the train station and then hiked with our group of 8 persons. She couldn’t have been nicer and had to change a couple of things due to time, etc. easy communication

Martina created a tour of Pisa and Lucca for me and my husband. Before booking, she reached out to ask what we were most interested in doing and what our interests were for our day. Our tour with Martina was incredible! Our day was full of her sharing her immense knowledge of not only the area, but also answering every question we had. She explained to us the deep roots of the history of the region, the tower itself, and how the geography of Pisa was important in their history. We had a wonderful lunch at a family owned restaurant she knows near the tower and we continued on to the beautiful city of Lucca, which was one of our favorite cities in Tuscany. Martina never ceased in sharing history, important facts and current events about both cities. We concluded our tour with a walk around the immense city wall, which is a hub for joggers, cyclists and families. Our personalized tour with Martina was absolutely incredible! She is professional, personal, and truly cares about creating the perfect tour. We will definitely contact her when we return to Italy to explore Cinque Terre.

Martina is the BEST!!! She was our private tour guide for two days in Lucca. She is so knowledgeable about the history of the city and made every moment effortless and fun. My husband and I biked the city wall and walked around the historical center at a nice leisurely pace. Martina was a tremendous help translating for us everywhere we went. She helped us feel more like the locals, as we did a chocolate tasting and food tour. We tasted delicious bites that we would have definitely missed, without her. She has great relationships with the shop owners and tailored our days to whatever we were most interested in doing. Martina went with us on a wine tasting, which was my husbands favorite activity. My favorite activity was when Martina help me pick out vintage jewelry in the oldest jewelry shop in Lucca!!! She captured all of our activities by taking fantastic pictures of my husband and I. At the end of the second day we were sad to say goodbye to Martina. She made our visit to Lucca the best part of our whole Italian trip! My husband and I highly recommended her tour guide services!!!

We really enjoyed our private tour with Martina in Pisa. She is very knowledgeable and we learned so much. There is much to see in Pisa. Without an excellent guide like Martina, you would simply walk by historic sites and not appreciate the story behind time. It was wonderful to be able to ask questions and not be lost in a large group tour. Martina is very responsive to individual interests and tailors the tour to the individuals she is with. Martina was also very helpful with directions and recommendations. We also appreciated the fact that she was able to accommodate us after a flight delay. Five stars to Martina! Don’t miss a chance to take a tour with her.

Our family of 4 spent a full day exploring beautiful Cinque Terre under Martina’s guidance in late October, 2023. It turned out to be the absolute best day of our ten day adventure traveling in Italy.
Martina is simply the most personal & professional guide you could ask for. She knows everything about navigating the trains, the walking trails, the towns, the restaurants, the sights. In short she is the consummate professional and we never would have experienced the beauty and history of Cinque Terre without her guidance no matter how much we researched the process.
Martina is superb at communicating prior to your tour and she is ultra flexible at free lancing if you need to adjust on the fly.
We managed to squeeze in the most remarkable tour of a 14th century vineyard, with the owner himself and then a private tasting afterwards in his ancient cellar. While sipping a his wines we also got to see first hand the workers handling the grapes from harvest. It was so interesting and we felt privileged to experience it first hand.
Cinque Terre is beautiful but it’s also heavily touristed and you could easily spend the entire day wandering on your own and not experience a third of what we saw, ate and shared with her. It was fantastic and the best $$ we spent during our time in Italy.
We hope to be back again in this area and we’ll absolutely hire Martina again. She is a gem!!

We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to trust Martina with our day trip to Pisa. Her depth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm for the city enriched our experience far beyond what we would had on our own. By the time we arrived at the Field of Miracles, she had given us enough of a background that we could appreciate that marvelous architecture as much more than a photo op. As retired educators we give Martina an At.

Martina was amazing. We have been back from our Northern Italy trip for two weeks. All our friends ask, "What was your favorite part?" I keep getting back to our time with Martina in Lucca. She was so wonderful to be with and took my wife and I on an amazing walking tour of the city. She was referred to us by my good friend that has toured with her many times. She was warm, welcoming, and so knowledgeable. She was able to quickly focus in on the highlights we were interested in. She was sensitive to our pace of travel and fast speed of walking so we could see as much as possible while also taking time to enjoy the sites. I hope to tour again with her and we are so appreciative of her knowledge and efforts.

We had a wonderful day with Martina going to the five towns of Cinque Terre. She was professional, knowledgeable, fun, and an all-around great hostess. I would highly recommend her. We will be using her next time we are in Italy. This was the best tour we had while in Italy for two weeks. It was an awesome, memorable day.

Our guided tour of the ancient area of Pisa was not only a visual delight, but also full of facts we never knew. Our tour guide, Martina, spent three hours opening a period of time that allowed us to experience it as if we were there.
Her extensive knowledge of history, art and architecture was told with a passion that made our visit truly memorable

Cinque Terre...... Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola, and Riomaggiore have been on my bucket list for years. If I didn't see the ALL the villages on this trip, I didn't know when I could return to Cinque Terre. We decided to go on the 9 hour Cinque Terre tour because it stopped at the 4 villages. Martina was fortunately our guide.
Now, friend's had warned us that the Ferry boats won't run if it is windy or raining. So the day of our tour, Martina met us at the Spezia train station and we started our tour. The Ferry was only running between Monterosso and Portovenere due to the winds. We visited these 2 villages and then, we started our TRAIN adventure to Vernazza, Manarola, and lastly to Riomaggiore. Because of Martina's committment to her customers we saw ALL villages. Previously, I thought seeing the villages via Ferry was the only true photo op. HOWEVER, at each village, Martina took us to incredible photo op places both up on the hills and down at the water. Her tenacity and determination to show us all 4 villages + Portovenere was incredible....she never gave up!! Thank you Martina a million times over for helping me accomplish my bucket list dream!! Martina is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, funny, compassionate and full of stories and laughter....an incredible woman. I wish her well in her career. I will always cherish my time spent with Martina M.
