The house is beautifully restored. Even so meticulously that it doesn’t feel authentic any more. It feels like a stage, a decor. Set in a stunning surrounding, but still a decor. Inside is little to see. A ticketoffice, a room with a video presentation, a...More

Leonardo’s birthplace is small but worth a visit. One should start with holographic 20 minute presentation before touring site. Additionally, the interactive display of Leonardo’s “Last Supper” is highly educational and definitely improves your understanding of this work of art.

Terrible “movie” with “Leonardo” talking about his life in the first person. Presentation was excruciatingly slow, his (I am assuming) Italian script was lip synced like a bad king fu movie to English. 3 rooms. Unless you are a true LDV history junkie, skip this.More

Dear Sir, we are sorry that you didn't appreciate the visit to Leonardo's Birthplace and, in particular, the 3d hologram. This one was realized after a deep study of Leonardo's language, using his own words when possible, to give the perception to be listening to...More

There are no original artworks in Vinci anymore, just reproductions. I was a bit disappointed by that. The entrance fee in a combi of museum, birth house and an exposition. Still, it was nice to walk where the great man himself walked.

Leonardo’s birthplace is included in the museum ticket at Vinci. It’s a lovely place, interesting to see and a great video on his life (English and Italian)

Leonardo da Vinci was one of the first Physicists, and if you've visited the museo, you should probably make the effort to visit his home where the genius grew up. He was one of the great minds 500 years before his time, and being a...More

as part of the visit to the Museo Leonardiano, you get to visit the small town of Anchiano, where the birthplace house of Leonardo is located, is on top of a hill, with nice views and an interesting video on the life of the Genius.

We had a docent led tour of this home. It included a movie giving insight into DiVincis life and perspective. Great way to learn about DiVinci.

From Vinci to his birth house is only a 2 minutes drive. Its location is nice, but the house itself does not show to much. Only a hologram of Leonardiano telling the story. This is quite nice

As the outside temperature was about 40 degrees centigrade we were really waisted after visiting main part of the museum and the castle (do not miss climbing the tower - around 100 steps). At least parking is very easy and free. Additionally you can buy...More
