Small in size but large in impact

A tiny building but rich in 15th century frescoes, just down from the basilica. well worth a visit to see wonderful paintings in a more manageable surrounding

Not large, but pretty & accessible (both mentally & physically). You meet it on the left as you approach the great Basilica of St Francis from the main square.

Although the space is small, the fresco decorations are a wonderful, coherent set. Spend a few minutes in peace and quiet to contemplate some truly spectacular art.

it's small but its frescos are very nice. and being right halfway between S. Chiara and S Francesco churches (basically 20 minutes of shop after shop) it offers a welcome artistic, cultural stop

This tiny chapel, used for perpetual adoration by Franciscan nuns, has lovely frescos and is a peaceful oasis on a busy Assisi street. It's right across from Assisi Jewels and offers a sharp contrast to the commercial district just beyond its curtained doors. Stop in!

We loved this little oratory. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and the walls are decorated with frescoes. A lovely stop along the Via San Francesco.
