We thought Assisi was a highlight of our trip to Italy, and the Basilica is a very moving experience. The tomb of St. Francis, the beautiful frescoes and the history were all wonderful. Yes, it is a definite tourist destination, but I think they manage...More

A wonderful visit while in Assisi. A beautiful basilica that makes the train ride worthwhile in itself.
