We visited the Palazzo dei Consoli to see the Gubbio in the time of Giotto exhibition. The exhibition was very interesting and we also enjoyed the permanent collection. There is also a wonderful view of the city and surrounding countryside from the upper floor.

I am teaching in a study abroad program in Florence and brought a group of my students to Gubbio. Our first stop was here and we were all completely disappointed. The problem was the tour and the tour guide. Both were awful. Since we had...More

We visited the town and discovered this magnificent place with a splendid view. The building is very nice, The museum inside is moderately interesting, except for the display of Umbrian tablets which was VERY learning.

It is a dominating historical building. This time we could see several exhibitions: historical view of torture tools, Pinacoteca, Garibaldi's uprising in Gubbio - but the most importantwere for us to study the bronze boards with ancien Umber scripts!

Beautiful building housing exquisite items but it is a little random. You jump from ancient times to modern porcelain to ancient bronzes to more porcelain to Italian unification to Asian artefacts to ancient history! Keep up! A little eclectic in curatorial design. Views from the...More
