If you like old Catholic art, this is the place for you. I have seen enough of this stuff to last a lifetime, and couldn't leave fast enough. Luckily, if you visit this museum, you can buy a pass that gives to access to several...More

The Galleria was recommended by travellers we met in Perugia. The art collection is quite large, though the subject matter is mostly Madonna and Child by many artists over a few hundred years. Well worth the visit.

I went here last Friday night and really enjoyed my time. It’s also free for journalists such as myself. So win win. The gallery was pretty empty so I loved having the place to myself. The art inside, which is pretty much all medieval religious...More

This museum had some of the most beautiful paintings. It was larger than I thought. I thought I'd spend an hour here but it was closer to two, and I still didn't see it all.

Loved the visit...rich treasure of paintings. A lot of Christian are but masterpieces. Museum is wonderfully maintained and kept.. Consider at least 2 hours. We bought a family ticket. It's a good deal for 35euros. Valid for a year.

The museum collection focuses on works of art produced in Umbria from the Medieval period to the 19th century, but concentrated on the Renaissance. It is shown in a palace turned modern museum, and the gallery spaces are quite evocative and interesting in themselves. It's...More

If this is your thing, crack on but comparing one "Adoration of the Magi" with another gets tiring for me after a while. Probably worth the 8 Euros a person fee with a few highlights but despite the size of the collection, unless you're religious...More
